More Photos and VideosHome surveillance video caught a real estate agent stealing women?s clothing from a home for sale, according to Arlington County police.
A man checked motion-activated web cams after his wife discovered underwear and other clothing was missing from their bedroom in their home in the 4100 block of N. 11th Street.
Police say the video shows 60-year-old Stephen Brumme, a real estate agent from Silver Spring, Md., going through drawers and closets and taking the items, police said.
"Really, my emotions were anger, because it's going through our personal belongings," said the victim's husband, who did not want his name used. "...She's upset that her personal space is violated for, basically, somebody else's deviance."
Police arrested Brumme and charged him with burglary and possession of burglarious tools. His real estate license was suspended immediately. He is not a member of the National Associate of Realtors.
Brumme is now out on bail.
Arlington County Poice say Brumme has been inside hundreds of homes in D.C., Maryland and Virginia. Anyone else whose home is on the market and has noticed items missing should call police at 703-558-2222.
A police spokesperson said this is the first time he's seen something like this happen.
