What's a Facebook Party? | Home Educating Family Association Blog

Have you heard about a Facebook party, but never attended? Have no fear! Your favorite homeschool social media lady is here to help. To attend our Facebook party on Monday, March 4, 2013, here?s what you DON?T have to do:

1. Get dressed up ? you can even come in your jammies!

2. Clean your house ? no one will see the laundry pile or dishes in the sink!

3. Put the kids to bed?let them play while you play, too!

4. Decorate and find party favors?our HomeschoolBlock.com vendors have taken care of the prizes!

5. Leave home?you attend from your couch, comfy chair, or even bed!

To attend our Facebook party here?s what you DO:

1. Go to our Facebook page from 8:30-10pm EST?It?s ok if you can?t stay the whole time. Just come and go as you please!?http://www.facebook.com/heduaonline

2. Join in?leave comments, like posts, invite your friends!

3. Follow directions?each company will have a link to their giveaway. Click on the announced link and follow the directions at the giveaway link. Each giveaway should tell you when they end, and winners will be notified via email! Sometimes when a lot of people go to a giveaway post to enter at the same time a website may get slow or full and not respond. Have no fear, you can try again later!

4. Refresh your screen?lots of comments and announcements come up on the page during a Facebook party. By refreshing your screen, you?ll see the new items. To refresh your screen, click on the circling arrow/double arrows up by your internet broswer (Chrome, Firefox, etc.).

5. HAVE FUN!

Hopefully that helps you understand how things will go Monday night. Thank you for your support and giving us a reason to celebrate!
