MOUNT WASHINGTON, OH (FOX19) - The debut for the 2013 Books by the Banks poster is happening on Thursday, September 5 at Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Norwood.
Meet this year?s artist, Jeffrey Ebbeler of Mount Washington, during the poster debut at Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Rookwood Pavilion at 6:30 p.m.
Following the discussion, artists from previous years will join Ebbeler in a Q&A about their work and sign posters for purchase. The cost of the new 2013 poster is $15, and the previous years? posters are $10 each.
Ebbeler attended the Art Academy of Cincinnati. He was an art director for the children's book department at Publication's International Ltd. before becoming a free-lance illustrator full time. He has illustrated over 40 children's books, and he writes and illustrates a monthly comic series for Ask magazine.
Ebbeler also has given many demonstrations in grade schools, colleges, and museums, and has worked on a variety of projects including illustrations for magazines, CD covers, and book covers as well as paper engineering for pop-up books, creating large-scale murals for schools and churches, and sculpting puppets for marionette theaters.
